We offer vaccines, wellness exams, preventative medicine, lab work, even with some immediate diagnostics, as well as treatment for dermatological conditions. Also, when it may be time for end of life discussions about your pet, Dr. Donovan is available for consults or in-home humane euthanasia.

Dr. Lauren Donovan has more than 20 years in the veterinary care business and 14 years as a veterinarian. She has traveled for hundreds of house calls and continues to work per diem in local veterinary hospitals for surgical procedures and appointments. She can confidently offer house call services for you and your pet for a range of different needs.

Dr. Lauren Donovan grew up in Northport, Long Island and wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a child. She completed her Pre-Veterinary Science Bachelor’s studies from University of Massachusetts, then pursued her veterinary doctorate degree immediately after at St. George’s University on the beautiful island of Grenada. Dr. Donovan graduated with her DVM degree in January 2010 after one year of clinical rotations at University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Since then she has worked at private and corporate owned small animal practices around Long Island as well as offering her time as a per diem veterinarian which helped gain more experience of best care needs for dogs and cats.
Lauren now lives in Smithtown with her husband, 2 dogs, 3 goats and many backyard chickens! She is excited to help others and show her commitment to caring for their pets.
